Andreas Tsakistos is country director for Brazil, China and Malaysia. He also works with a public health prevention program in Ecuador that is focused on Chagas disease, an acquired heart disease. Before joining Children’s HeartLink in 2006 he worked with humanitarian aid programs in sub-Saharan Africa. Andreas had an international upbringing and as a child moved with his family to Kenya, England and several other countries. He has a B.A. in history and philosophy from Hamline University and an M.A. in international development from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver.
