Dear Friends,
As we reflect on what has been accomplished in 2011, I’m thrilled to report that Children’s HeartLink has had a tremendously successful
year. We finished our fiscal year especially strong, with just over eleven percent growth in revenue. Another highlight is the addition of a new partner site in Chandigarh, India, which will work in partnership with medical volunteers from Children’s Hospital Boston. These are new and very promising relationships for us. We are growing, and we are expanding.
We are also building our reputation as a global leader in sustainable pediatric cardiac care. This year, we introduced our new International Advisory Board, co-chaired by former Secretary of Health and Human Services Tommy G. Thompson and former Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle. We look forward to the expertise, advocacy and new connections this advisory board will bring to our organization.
