India is the world’s second-most populous country, with one of the world’s fastest growing economies. While major cities boast technological advancement and luxury, there is also a great deal of poverty and inequality. Children with congenital heart disease face a shortage of pediatric specialists and uneven access to adequate medical care. As an organization dedicated to promoting cardiac care for children in underserved regions, Children’s HeartLink is committed to continuing and building on our work in India.
Since 1999, Children's HeartLink has been committed to the advancement of pediatric cardiac services in India. Children's HeartLink partners with hospitals in three cities: Bangalore, Kochi and Chandigarh.
